NEW PRODUCT INFORMATION
SEA BASS 4 & 5 H.P. MODELS.
Selva Marine has introduced two new portable models to their Four-stroke Outboard range. f
What is unique about these models it that they overcome one of the major complaints regarding the stowage of portable 4T engines - oil spillage - they have dry sump lubrication instead of an oil filled sump. Similar to a two-stroke engine they have an oil injection system with an integrated oil tank. Therefore, once the carburettor has been run dry and the water drained from the cooling system, they can be safely laid down on any side without the danger of oil spillage.
These motors weigh just 23 kg. are water-cooled, the tiller arm incorporates the twist grip throttle control, there is a safety lanyard/kill switch and they are equipped with an F.N.R gearbox plus 360 degree rotation and are available with a 12 L remote tank or with a 1.8 L Built-in tank. An optional 12V/70W generator with rectifier is also available.
